Discord, Reddit, and GitHub

Last checked: 2026-11-04 · Official version: v0.2.0-beta (2026-11-02) · Protocol 164 · Free · Windows 10/11 64-bit · Up to 8 players · RED4ext only (no CET) · Phantom Liberty not required

The channels the project points at are the NightCoop Discord, the site nightcoop.net, and the GitHub repository that holds the self-hosted hub. Reddit is where players talk. It is not where the release list is published.

Discord

Server name NightCoop. Snapshot 4 Nov 2026: 29,484 members, 8,783 online at 07:24 UTC.

Community discussion; use the project site for release notes and hashes.

Hub repository

Linux relay guide. Not the mod download.

nightcoop.net

Home, download, guides, and the release list.

Bug reports that need files belong in Discord with the three logs from the logs page, plus the time and whether you were host or guest. A Reddit thread can still be useful as a second description of a symptom. I do not treat a single Reddit comment as a project decision unless the project page says the same thing. The comparison threads about ChoomLink and CyberMP stay on those pages.

Questions

Which place is the project’s own chat?

The Discord invite 6UvSdSmaTM. The public record on 4 November 2026 showed 29,484 members and 8,783 online at the 07:24 UTC check. Those counts move.

Is r/NightCoop the place for patch notes?

It is a community board. Treat it as a community board, not as the patch-note channel. Patch notes are on nightcoop.net.
