Cyberware-EX with NightCoop
Last checked: 2026-11-04 · Official version: v0.2.0-beta (2026-11-02) · Protocol 164 · Free · Windows 10/11 64-bit · Up to 8 players · RED4ext only (no CET) · Phantom Liberty not required
Cyberware-EX adds more cyberware slots than the base game. Its Nexus page, by psiberx, lists game 2.5 only and a stack of libraries: TweakXL 1.12 or newer, Codeware 1.21 or newer, RED4ext 1.31 or newer, and redscript 0.5.32 or newer. NightCoop is not in that list. The open-beta page does not name Cyberware-EX. Status: no compatibility statement.
Slots versus appearance
A guest needs to see the host’s chrome if the session is showing the same character sheet, and the guest’s own extra slots matter when the guest is the one being looked at. NightCoop’s 0.2.0 notes say a missing mod falls back to vanilla cars, weapons, weather, and radio. Cyberware slots are none of those four. I will not borrow the car sentence and apply it to a gorilla-arms slot or an extra skeletal slot. Whether the extra capacity exists only on the client that installed Cyberware-EX, or whether it replicates, is blank.
Loader versions can collide on paper
NightCoop’s 2.5 archive bundles RED4ext 1.31.0. Cyberware-EX asks for RED4ext 1.31 or newer. That overlap is necessary and still not sufficient. TweakXL and Codeware are Cyberware-EX’s dependencies, not NightCoop’s. Installing them for the slot mod does not produce a tested pair. The Equipment-EX bridge is a different outfit mod with its own Nexus page and an author who named NightCoop 0.2.0. Mixing those two “EX” names is how this question gets a false yes.
Host and guest requirement: unknown. Tested NightCoop version: blank. If you run it anyway, tell the other players before the session, because a slot the guest cannot see will look like a missing item rather than like a documented fallback. The relevant evidence is the Cyberware-EX requirements page and the NightCoop fallback list. Neither publishes a pairing statement, so an overlap in loader requirements cannot establish compatibility.

Questions
Who made Cyberware-EX?
psiberx, Nexus 9429. Cyberware-EX changes cyberware capacity; it is not Equipment-EX, which manages outfits and has a separate NightCoop bridge.
Is there a patch like the Equipment-EX bridge?
Not on the pages checked 4 November 2026. Equipment-EX has a separate bridge (37148). Cyberware-EX does not.
