Cyberpunk 2077 co-op mods

Last checked: 2026-11-04 · Official version: v0.2.0-beta (2026-11-02) · Protocol 164 · Free · Windows 10/11 64-bit · Up to 8 players · RED4ext only (no CET) · Phantom Liberty not required

Three projects show up when people search for a Cyberpunk 2077 co-op or multiplayer mod. NightCoop is campaign co-op for up to eight players and needs RED4ext only. ChoomLink is campaign co-op plus separate match modes, installed through a launcher, and its Nexus tags include Cyber Engine Tweaks. CyberMP describes itself as a semi-open beta sandbox, and its download page limits the launcher to testers. None of the three is a CD PROJEKT RED release. Figures are as of 4 November 2026.

If you want the story with friends this week, NightCoop and ChoomLink both say they do that. If you want match modes with names like Search and Destroy, that list is on ChoomLink’s page. If you are waiting on CyberMP, the site and a Reddit thread disagree about whether it is released, and I keep both sentences on the versus page. The install and feature rows describe the respective project pages.

Questions

Which one can I download today?

NightCoop from nightcoop.net, and ChoomLink from Nexus 35338. CyberMP’s download page says the launcher is for testers.

Is any of them the official multiplayer?

No. CD PROJEKT RED does not publish these three. They are separate projects.
